Cold Inside by PhantomSeptember Cold Inside by PhantomSeptember
"I will not regret dying this way
forget my deeds forget my sins
forget all the agony I hold within
remember one thing before I fade
try to remember at least my name
I'm not scared to die
(you know that's a lie...)
I'm not afraid to be alone
(please don't give up hope...)
I can't feel the pain
I'll be back again some day
or maybe I'll just fade away..."

~Kazaract :iconkazaract:

Inspired by his poem here: [link]

I don't really care for how it came out though. Probably move it to scraps? I don't know. It was fun, but sadly, not much of a result.

That is amazing! Is the hair done with ink not watercolour? It's beautifully done.

None of this is watercolour actually. :) The hair is indeed ink, as is the lineart. The rest is acrylic. :D

Glad you like it! Thank you for the watch as well!

Both you and Jipushi have the coolest drawing styles I've ever seen. I really mean that! ^^

I simply adore the hair wrapped around Kazaract's ribs. I can't quite place it, but there's something so interesting about that... It's simple, really, but something I've never seen before, especially the way it branches off into that vein-like...ness. There's no word for that, is there? Anyhow, the way you've done the background gives a really nice effect on the overall mood of the piece, too. The striping reminds me of the bark on a tree, and rain at the same time... >.> Sheesh, if I told you everything I liked about this piece, dA might crash! Don't condemn this to scraps and don't be too hard on yourself! It really is beautiful and intriguing.

Thank you very much! :)

It's Kazaract's poem, but that's my chracter, not Kaz. :) And will do. I'll keep it out of scraps. I wish I'd try new stuff more often. I seem to be getting a little stagnant lately. Or, I think so anyway.

Thanks for the favourite.
