Turned out kinda boring. :/ Need to practise anatomy more.

The song reminds me of an experience I had as a kid.
Read no further if you don't want to bother with a slightly boring story.
When I was about 14, we went to visit some friends of my mother, out of state. Well, everyone just decided I was going to sleep with the family's 14 year-old daughter in her room. Also, this family thought of dogs as dirty things that should never be allowed in the house. So my dog was spending the night in their warehouse.
Well.
I didn't want to sleep in the girl's room. Plenty of other rooms were available in the house but somehow it was decided for me that I'd be sleeping in her room with her. I like quiet, and I also like space, and this girl happened to be especially loud and energetic.
So I refused.
Somehow, this seemed to offend everyone. No one seemed to be able to understand that I simply didn't want to sleep in her room. I would have thought this was more than understandable, and not simply because of differing personalities. But seeing that no one was going to understand, I decided to go talk to my dog about it. But the code they'd given me for the lock on the warehouse didn't work.
Separated from my dog, and with strangely upset people in the house, I went to the top floor of the house and went to sleep in a small attic closet. My thinking was along the lines of, "screw this, I'm gonna get some sleep."
When things aren't going well, I usually like to find the darkest, smallest and quietest place I can. Often I sleep better on the floor than I do in beds. So I went to sleep.
Little did I realise what a sensation my disappearance would cause. Everyone thought I'd been kidnapped and carried off into the night. Eventually they found me fast asleep in the closet.
I still like small spaces and I still tell people no if I don't like a situation.

I like the story behind this illustration. (and no, I thought it was more interesting then boring!) I like the ghostly figures around the boy, they seem like their protecting him from reality so he can enjoy his dreamland.
This also kinda reminds me of Avatar the Last Airbender, when the main character; Aang was trapped within the ice.
