"Let it be beautiful when I sing the last song,
I will give you even my body,
Spiritwalker,
Let all the children kiss the sun before they sing their last song
I will give you even my body
Spiritwalker."

- The Cult, Spiritwalker

One of the main characters from my novel. Such a friendly necromancer.

Though inspired by The Cult song, the old adage "Beware the bad cat bearing a grudge," now comes to mind.

I wanted to try a more ambitious pose and push myself more than I have. I don't want to limit myself to stuff I know I can draw. Mostly this translates into "my stuff may look a little crappier than usual for awhile as I try new things."

"This artist's gallery is full of extremely beautiful and detailed--but stylized--work. This drawing in particular has staggeringly beautiful composition, and its interpretation is especially unique and intriguing." ( Suggested by ~ChaoticInsanity13 and Featured by ^rydi1689 )

Wow! What did you do to make the smoke at the bottom? It looks really cool!

Diluted acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol. You put down a layer of black wash and then, while it's still wet, splatter alcohol on it. With watercolour paint it would simply spread away, but with acrylic it spreads away and then returns and darkens the alcoholic spatters into interesting dark patterns.
