The Tailypoby ~PhantomSeptember

Having trouble with drawing lately so I decided to do a little illustration based on my favourite children's book "Tailypo" told by Joanna Galdone. Essentially it's about a hunter who was ripped to pieces by a creature/ghost. My favourite book as a child.

The red light on some of the branches and the ground add a lot of interest to this, to me. It's interesting how you created a sort of ethereal look to the creature by using dots rather than a solid form. I like the way the red glow from the eyes curves up.

The trees are so cool and the effect you've got on the creature is really nice. Nice painting, is the book available on amazon?
